  • The theme of my thesis was to study how a designer can influence on household item´s longevity in a positive way. The result is Kirnu, a set of five containers with lids that covers several basic functions in kitchen: cooking, serving, eating and storing. Five different materials form material pairs and each part has also its own function. Visually minimalistic containers are combinable and can be stored within each other.
