  • As a part of my artistic-based Master’s Thesis, I asked people to share their dreams and fears through a survey. Answers were given anonymously online and used as part of a media art installation.

The installation consists of a projected video loop and soundscape, combined with a physical display of black and white helium balloons that carry people's dreams and fears. The whites are for dreams and the blacks are for fears.

The overall subject of my thesis is creative passion. In my written work I reflect on my own process through fears towards one of my dreams, which is to work as an artist.

The goal of my installation is to get people to think about their own dreams and fears. It's about the importance of dreams and having the courage to seek your own path through your fears.
