  • The objective of this thesis is to study how the structure of a weft fabric can be transformed to sounds. This is achieved by building a Sound Weaver prototype. A virtual fabric is created with the prototype. The colors and the sound pitches of the "yarns" can be altered and the fabric can be played through.

    I find the structure of a weft, the repeat of colored yarns and even printed patterns rhythmic. This rhythm inspired me to think textiles in the form of sound.
