  • My thesis is about members of the crew and their ideas. I investigate how employees’ knowledge and experience contribute to the development of innovative solutions while onboard. When conducting research onboard the world’s biggest cruise ship, I discovered opportunities for implementing the concept of employee-driven innovation (EDI). EDI aims at unleashing the creative potential of employees by providing them with tools to innovate and an atmosphere that supports the generation of ideas.
