  • My thesis explores the idea of architecture as a subject in relation to man.
Architectural space is usually understood as an object that is being observed, while the human is understood as a subject. This work aims to shake up the situation, the research material consisting of films in which buildings and spaces appear to be living. In a broader sense, my thesis deals with the filters we’re using when looking at architecture and how, at the same time, the architecture looks back.

My MoA’13 installation is almost ready and some people seem to think that it’s scary. It’s a dark room with a voice. I’m glad if it evokes feelings.

Dreams Made Real doesn’t only include bright daydreams. It also exhibits unclear and weird feelings about reality and future. There is always fear of the unknown that needs to be overcome. But it’s just a lonely room that asks to be touched. There’s nothing to be afraid of.
