My thesis explores the aesthetics of the elements of nature and its phenomena, transformed into a print design collection for the Marimekko 2012 spring collection. The concept focuses on the signs of ever-changing nature's intangible and invisible side such as spiritual power. The interior textile collection includes three designs: “Wild Boar”, “Snowy Owl”, and “Tiger”, all inspired by the Japanese and Finnish sense of beauty found in nature. The collection unveils new designs by means of challenging techniques.
