Our everyday work consists of knowledge flows from people to people. We learn from others and share our experience and insights to turn our knowledge into something useful and valuable. But making someone understand what we think is a hard task – many barriers for knowledge sharing have to be overcome for such learning to happen.
In my master’s thesis, I studied factors that influence knowledge sharing in organizational contexts. I examined a real life case of a large global company, where work processes involve collaboration over team and unit boundaries, and compared my results to those of earlier research.
