Agile methodology has brought a revolution upon the software development world. However, it struggles with aligning high-level decision making with development. Service design methods could provide a partial solution.
I explore ways to introduce service design into an agile software contractor, specifically Futurice Ltd. I utilise cultural mapping and co-creation to arrive at a context-sensitive solution.
A part of this solution is the Service Design Method Toolkit. It's an artifact based heuristic for providing a set of service design methods and gathering experience from using them.
