“UPM Grada Plywood” – the greatest invention in many years in plywood industry. “UPM Grada” is a thermoplastic plywood that can be formed into desired form by heating. In addition to the ability of post-forming, the product has other interesting properties compared to the conventional plywood. In my thesis, I studied these properties. Moisture resistance was clearly superior and strength properties appeared more consistent compared to conventional plywood. What else has this new invention to offer?
