The language and narrative of peripheries, forgotten and forbidden areas have been a recurring motif in my work. Much of my source material originates in these desolate landscapes, banal roadside views, crumbling structures, hidden remnants and peculiar locations. I am in constant pursuit of the unexpected, the idiosyncratic, the serendipitous and all the elements that fall through the cracks of society's infrastructure. This manifests in an art practice of video installation and immersive environments of obstacles, shaky terrain, grainy images, blurry lines, rusty textures, elusive sounds and all the poetics of dirt and grime.
