In my thesis work, typical design challenges of non-profits are recognized and presented by utilizing the experience I gained from my work as a web designer and online marketing expert in the field, literature searching and the design process of sos-lapsikyla.fi. The study was carried out from the point of view of usability and graphic design, but also content management and online communication were addressed. I was responsible for the user interface design while there were also other people participating in content creation.
Technical implementation was conducted by the international web team of SOS Children's Villages.
