In my thesis, I wanted to explore how collaborative scriptwriting works with comics and how the process should be implemented. The group consisted of 14 participants. We met once a week and wrote in between the meetings in a closed Facebook-group.
During the process we went through scriptwriting phases like ideation, characterization and story refinement. Creating stories in a group was inspiring and motivating. It took 11 weeks to finish the stories. Eventually the stories were assembled and printed as a book.
The Project was implemented in co-operation with Helsinki Comic Center.
