“Wind shelter” oil painting collage is associated with my artificial degree work “Metaphoristic peepholes from childhood to adulthood and back”. It handles a situation based on personal experience in a secret hut in a Northern Finnish coastal city. “Wind shelter” is a visual image of humanity, where two sides of human being are represented: internal and external, right and adverse. An idea of a secret hut as a wall, a curtain or a mental rampart gets different meanings via symbolics of a burka in my research. The analysis of the beginning of the artists own core handwriting, based on the strong spatial experience in childhood, is in the center of the research.
