Co-designing The Future Health IT seminar
Come hear the results of the collaborative project "co-designing the future of health IT" between Aalto-university and the city of Helsinki Health Care Center.
We have developed new e-services for the Helsinki health center over this spring. Collaborative project “co-designing the future of health IT” between Aalto University’s Department of Design and City of Helsinki Health Care Centre explored how e-services can be developed now and in the future:
In the area of information and self-services we created new concepts for maternity ward and for families
In preventive care we created new models to get risk patients to attend health cervices in student health
In appointment booking we combined product, service and process design to reduce no-show
Come hear and see the results in our final seminar at “Masters of Aalto” pavilion in Jätkäsaari! In the seminar we provide a roundup of the key findings, reveal the final design concepts by the student groups and initiate open discussion with the help of commentaries by the health care center staff. The event is part of “365 Wellbeing” the main World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 project by Aalto University. In this projects student groups led by professors and researchers improve wellbeing in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen and Lahti.
